The notion of the very existence of the H9 Reduction poses the question is this high horology or high jinx. Beat Haldimann produces some exquisite looking watches displaying an exceptionally high level of technical proficiency. There is no doubt the H9 is skillfully made but doesn’t tell the time. The irony is that underneath a veil of opaque black sapphire crystal lays a complex mechanical movement.
