Every day (rain or shine) I do an energetic circuit around the lake, which takes approximately one hour. The four-mile walk gives me time to crystallise concepts for future articles, books and product design. Interesting the area called West Lakes was formerly tidal swamp and was extensively regenerated by a prominent developer called Delfin in the 1970’s. Nowadays this suburb attracts affluent clients, who build amazing architectural homes overlooking the water. One of the finest examples is owned by a tech multi-millionaire in his twenties. As well as owning a spectacular residence he also owns some amazing cars including a bright yellow Lamborghini Huracan.
Over recent years, within the luxury goods arena, collaborations have become more and more popular. Probably, the most popular cross-marketing platform in the automotive industry. In the world of horology, this aspect has been exploited to its full potential, with some very interesting results. However, high-end brands like Super Veloce have also created some extraordinary supercar inspired pieces as well. In fact, their latest masterpiece called the Espresso Veloce V10 is actually inspired by the Lamborghini Huracan.
As a designer, I try and surround myself with people that inspire me. A great example is Paolo Mastrogiuseppe who owns luxury brand Super Veloce. His ability to innovate and constantly think outside the box is totally infectious. The luxury industry can be a hostile environment unless you have the ability to create masterpieces. This talent seems to come naturally to Paolo who always seems one step ahead of the game. That is why his amazing limited edition automotive-inspired espresso machines delight connoisseurs from around the globe.
There is no doubt that most people would relish the opportunity to own a Lamborghini Huracan. This sensational car has a 5.2-litre V10 engine that rockets from 0-60mph in a jaw-dropping 2.5 seconds. Recently a fortunate owner approached Paolo Mastrogiuseppe to create a bespoke espresso machine to match his formidable vehicle. As you would expect the overall results are phenomenal and Paolo definitely rose to the challenge. The Espresso Veloce V10 (Lamborghini Huracan) is an amazing machine that will make a bold statement in this lucky client’s home.
The Veloce V10 is crafted from high-quality materials like alloys (Anticorodal 6082 & 6061/T6), Stainless steel (316 Ti & 304) and carbon fibre. This particular model has been customised to the client’s specifications. Therefore, the cam covers are a vibrant orange to match the colour of the owners Lamborghini Huracan. Certainly, after drinking a couple of espressos from this magnificent machine you will feel like you are accelerating from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds.
