Milus International SA was founded in 1919 in the location of Bienne, Switzerland by Paul William Junod. From humble beginnings the company has become a watchmaker of distinction and is highly respected in the industry. Presently and under the guidance of General Manager Mr. Cyril Dubois, the brand’s objective is to keep producing innovative timepieces. The fantastic Zetios Chronograph ZCRC3 Limited Edition perfectly illustrates this point.
Like most brands Milus promote their watches with the assistance of high profile ambassadors. These lucrative alliances seem to be a popular marketing strategy for companies to significantly raise their profiles. Their latest partnership is with the legendary international footballer Roberto Carlos. Apparently the wonderful Zetios Chronograph ZCRC3 Limited Edition pays tribute to his enormous skill.
With a diameter of 45mm excluding the pushers and crown the Zetios Chronograph ZCRC3 Limited Edition is well proportioned. These dimensions should appeal to a fairly broad demographic because the size of watch is neither too large nor too small. I would also imagine that the timepiece would be comfortable to wear especially on a daily basis. This piece would look just as cool under a formal suit as it would with jeans and a polo shirt.
Visually the Zetios Chronograph ZCRC3 Limited Edition is sleek and sophisticated. The dial is composed of carbon fibre with three contrasting yellow and blue counters. These symbolise the colours showcased on the Brazilian flag. Other notable features include the bold white indices, distinctive hour/minute hands and large date window located below the numeral 12. This entire splendour is encased in black DLC (diamond like carbon) coated 316L stainless steel. In my opinion the overall design of the watch is cohesive and the finish is superior.
Milus have equipped the Zetios Chronograph ZCRC3 Limited Edition with a Swiss made in house developed movement. The Caliber DD 4500 is a mechanical self-winding movement that delivers a respectable 40-hour power reserve. This incredible mechanism is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The timepiece offers a pretty impressive list of features including hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph function.
Only three exclusive timepieces will ever be produced in this series. The phenomenal Zetios Chronograph ZCRC3 Limited Edition comes in three versions with black, green and yellow alligator straps. The latter being reserved for Roberto Carlos.
